GigSky and Ultramain Target One Source for Av Data Services
PALO ALTO, CA., December 14, 2016, — GigSky, one the world’s premier providers of mobile data services for aircraft, recently signed a partnership agreement to jointly market its products and services with Ultramain Systems. Ultramain sells software systems to airlines for ground and flight-based maintenance and inventory control. Their electronic logbook, ULTRAMAIN® ELB™, is used by more airlines than any other ELB on the market.
GigSky’s partnership with Ultramain follows an agreement with Avionica announced last May. By partnering, the three companies are able to provide a significant advantage to their customers, who will now have access to complete solutions, rather than sourcing and evaluating hardware, software and connectivity solutions separately. Testing and validation have been completed to ensure that GigSky mobile data connectivity works flawlessly in concert with Avionica hardware and Ultramain software, resulting in a time and cost-saving pre-integrated solution.

GigSky provides a robust, redundant network with mission-critical 3G/LTE coverage in over 190 countries and territories. The service also includes a cloud-based admin portal to provision, monitor, analyze and control mobile data usage and spend.
Ultramain’s ELB solution enables pilots and technicians to digitally log all technical issues before, during and after flights. GigSky provides the wireless network to upload all of this information to airline backend maintenance systems. This enhances real-time communication between crews and ground maintenance operators, enabling faster turnaround times.
