Mytikas is the real summit, and it's honest to say it's not a walk. Every common line to the top involves either exposed scrambling on Kakoskala or easy rock climbing on Louki, plus the risk of loose stone from other parties.

The quieter Mt Olympus Greece hike starts at Gortsia on the north side and climbs through forest to Petrostrouga, then on toward the Plateau of the Muses.
