Getting started with your GigSky eSIMs
 

Congratulations! You are just a few steps away from getting set with your GigSky eSIM.

In case you are unsure that your device supports an eSIM, view the eSIM compatible devices here.

 

Once you have confirmed that your device supports an eSIM, here is the QR code that is to be used to download and install the eSIM onto your device.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Follow the instructions corresponding to your device OS

iPhone

iPad

Android

Windows

Instructions for IPHONE

  1. Open the Camera app and scan the above QR code

  2. When the Cellular Plan Detected notification appears, tap it

  3. Tap Continue, at the bottom of the screen

  4. Tap Add Cellular Plan and then go through the steps that are shown

The eSIM should have been downloaded and installed on your device. 

 

To use the GigSky eSIM for your data on your device, ensure that

  • APN (Access Point Name) is set to “gigsky” (without the quotes)

  • Roaming is enabled

 

Instructions for iPad

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular Data 

  2. Tap on Add a New Plan under the CELLULAR PLANS section

  3. To scan the QR code provided in this page above, tap on Other. Position your iPad so that the QR code appears in the frame

 

The eSIM should have been downloaded and installed on your device.

 

To use the GigSky eSIM for your data on your device, ensure that

  • APN (Access Point Name) is set to “gigsky” (without the quotes)

  • Roaming is enabled

Instructions for Android

 

  1. Open the Settings app

  2. Search for Mobile Network

  3. Once inside Mobile Network, tap on Add Carrier

  4. Scan the QR Code that is provided earlier in this page and proceed with the next steps to download the eSIM

 

The eSIM should have been downloaded and installed on your device. 

 

Note: The exact menu in the Settings app and the subsequent steps labels may vary depending on the specific manufacturer of your Android device. Please refer to the manufacturer’s instructions

 

To use the GigSky eSIM for your data on your device, ensure that

  • APN (Access Point Name) is set to “gigsky” (without the quotes)

  • Roaming is enabled

 

Instructions for Windows 10

  1. Select the Start button, then select Settings> Network & Internet > Cellular > Manage eSIM profiles

  2. Under eSIM profiles, select Add a new profile

  3. Select Let me enter an activation code I have from my mobile operator > Next.

  4. Choose which camera to use on your PC, and then scan the QR code that is provided above in this page

  5. The activation code should appear in the corresponding Activation code box. Select Next

  6. For the dialog box that asks Do you want to download this profile?, enter the confirmation code provided above in the page, and then select Download

  7. Select Close
