Is the data actually unlimited?
You get 3.5 GB of high-speed data per day — the highest daily cap among unlimited eSIM providers. After that, speeds reduce until your allowance resets at the 24-hour mark.
Which Visa cards are eligible?
All eligible Visa consumer and commercial cards (including debit and prepaid) receive 3 days of unlimited data plus 20% off additional plans. Visa Infinite cardholders (including Canadian Visa Infinite Privilege) get 7 days of unlimited data plus 30% off extras.
Does my benefit cover connectivity on a cruise?
The complimentary plan doesn't extend to cruise connectivity, but your 20% or 30% discount does apply to GigSky cruise plans. GigSky is the only eSIM that covers both sea days (290+ cruise ships) and port days.
Does the Visa Destinations benefit replace my existing GigSky global benefit?
No. You keep both. You can use your existing global data plan and your new destinations benefit independently.
How does the discount work?
Once verified, your 20% or 30% discount is automatically applied at checkout whenever you purchase additional data plans. It never expires as long as you remain an eligible cardholder.

Which destinations are included in the benefit?
The benefit is available in the United Kingdom, France, the UAE, the United States, and Thailand. Visa will continue to add new destinations over time, and your benefit will automatically update to include them, no action is required on your end.
How do I redeem my benefit?
1. Download the GigSky app. 2. Tap the Visa banner inside the app. 3. Enter your Visa card number to confirm eligibility. 4. Once confirmed, all available benefits will appear to redeem before your trip.
How much data do I get with a Visa Infinite card?
Visa Infinite card (consumer or commercial, including Canadian Visa Infinite Privilege) gets 7 days of unlimited data plus 30% off any extra plans.
What is the Visa Destinations GigSky benefit?
Starting April 1, 2026, your Visa card unlocks a complimentary GigSky eSIM data plan whenever you travel to one of Visa's destinations (the UK, France, the UAE and the US). Skip the roaming charges and the hunt for a local SIM.
